The Triton Passion is a mid-range electric shower that offers a simple design, multiple cable and water entry points, and numerous shower head spray patterns. Although it’s missing a few features that we’ve seen on other similarly-priced models, this quality unit makes a great addition to just about any bathroom.

Our Triton Passion 8.5kW Electric Shower Review

The Triton Passion features an all-white exterior with simple rotary controls to make showering a breeze. While we’re reviewing the 8.5kW model, there is also the option to choose a 9.5kW model as well.

With the touch of a button, you can turn the shower head on and off.  Altogether, there are three power settings: eco, high and cold. The shower head also offers five different spray patterns to turn your shower into a spa: jet, rain, blast, drench and spray.

The adjustable riser rail and shower bracket allows you to adjust the height and position of the shower head for a more comfortable showering experience.

A low pressure LED indicator is also built into the unit to alert you when the pressure gets too low. When water pressure is low, it can affect the shower’s performance.

With multiple cable and water entry points, this shower is easy to install if you’re replacing an old electric shower. The entire process should take no more than 45 minutes. If this is your first electric shower, you’ll want to call a plumber and/or electrician for help.

The unit comes with a two-year guarantee, so you can rest assured that your purchase is protected.

Pros

  • Easy installation
  • Three power settings for a personalised showering experience
  • Temperature dial is easy to adjust
  • Spray pattern options make showering more pleasant
  • Backed by a two-year guarantee

Cons

  • No phased shutdown

Our only complaint with this unit is that it doesn’t have a phased shutdown feature, which helps prevent limescale buildup. If you live in an area with particularly hard water, you may prefer a model that offers this feature, which flushes out pre-heated water after the unit is turned off.

While not a deal-breaker, this is a feature we normally see in other models in this price range.

With that said, the Triton Passion is a durable, easy-to-use electric shower that offers numerous spray patterns and simple controls. We highly recommend this unit to anyone looking for a new electric shower.
