Our MX Intro Electric Shower Review

In the design department, the MX Intro really isn’t anything special. It looks just like most of the other electric shower models on the market today. But where it lacks in design, it makes up in function.

If your main purpose is to save money on your water and electricity bills each month, the dual eco mode will entice you. There’s also a cold and high function, so you can select your desired settings.

A separate rotary knob lets you control the water’s temperature and includes a visual guide to help you select the appropriate temperature for your needs. Turning the knob to the right will increase the temperature, while turning to the left will make the water cooler.

The simple push button start and stop makes it easy to get in and out of the shower as quickly as possible. Full temperature stabalisation and a safety high temperature cut out makes this electric shower safe for use in homes with children and seniors.

The multi-entry design makes it easy to install this shower. The unit also comes with the shower head, rail, hose and all components. The entire unit is backed by a 12-month warranty, so you can rest assured that your purchase is protected.

Pros

  • Easy to install
  • The dual eco modes let you maximise savings
  • Backed by a 12-month warranty
  • Temperature dial lets you choose a comfortable setting for your shower
  • Push-button start and stop for easy use
  • Five modes for added convenience

Cons

  • No spray pattern settings

The only drawback – and it’s a slight one – is that this shower does not offer spray pattern settings. Many modern models offer this now, so we were surprised to see this not included with the MX Intro.

Overall, the MX Intro is a great option for anyone looking to maximise their water and energy savings. As an added bonus, this model comes with everything you need to install the shower quickly and easily.
